Vocational Habilitation is a service that offers learning and work experiences, including volunteer activities, to help individuals acquire skills necessary for securing and maintaining integrated community employment. The goal is to find employment that aligns with each person’s interests, strengths, priorities, and capabilities.

Our Vocational Habilitation program supports individuals in building:

  • Skills for clear and effective communication with supervisors, colleagues, customers, and other workplace contacts
  • Knowledge of appropriate workplace behavior and dress standards
  • Techniques for problem-solving and strategic thinking
  • Awareness of workplace safety practices
  • The ability to advocate for oneself in a work environment
  • Proficiency in managing transportation to and from the workplace
  • Approaches for progressing towards community-based employment opportunities

Integrated Vocation Habilitation
